Dual-sided power meter pairing & Left/Right balance

How SuperCycle handles dual-sided pedal or crank power meters and shows power balance.

SuperCycle supports both single-sided and dual-sided power meters conforming to the standard Bluetooth Cycling Power Service (CPS):

  • Primary pedal pairing: For dual-sided pedals (like Favero Assioma, Garmin Rally, or Look), pair the Master/Primary side (typically the Left pedal). The primary pedal receives right pedal data and transmits combined total power and L/R balance percentage to SuperCycle.
  • Separately paired sides: If your crank arms broadcast as two separate Bluetooth IDs (e.g., separate Stages L and R), pair the Left crank; SuperCycle will double single-side power or merge dual streams according to your manufacturer configuration app.
  • Zero-offset calibration: Always perform zero-offset calibration in your power meter's official app prior to your ride.
